Not Without Hope
In this world, there are two types of people: those who have hope and those who have lost all hope. As Christians, it is essential that we belong to the former category because, without hope, we cannot truly live. Hope equips believers with the strength to face each day, persevere, and believe in the gift of eternal life granted in Christ.
In the Easter series “Not Without Hope,” Pastor Philip reminds believers that they have hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This hope breathes purpose and meaning into a Chris-tian life, allowing them to face life and death with confidence. Those who trust in Christ are no longer without hope because they have encountered the risen Savior who has given them a liv-ing hope that transcends all circumstances.
In Thessalonians 4, Paul reminds the believers to grieve like those who have no hope because they have a certain and living hope in Christ. In a world where despair is prevalent, Pastor Philip emphasizes the importance of holding onto hope and cautions those who omit God from their life as it can lead to hopelessness. As believers, the resurrection of Christ reminds us to cling to the living hope that we have in Him and allow it to guide us through every season of life.
